Candy AI alternatives, compared on images, voice and whether you can see the price

What each one actually includes beyond chat, and which ones let you read the price before creating an account.

Companion apps are sold on a feature list and bought on three things: what you actually get besides text, what it costs, and whether you can find that out before handing over an email address.

That last one is worth leading with. Candy AI does not show a price until you sign up. It is not alone, and it is not a scandal, but it does make comparison harder than it needs to be. So this page states, for each alternative, what is included and whether the price is readable in advance.

Every figure below was read from the vendor’s own page and carries the date it was checked on its listing.

The short answer

If you want Try Price visible? From
Photos, video and voice calls AI Angels Yes 12.99 dollars
A named company and crypto Honeybot Yes 11.99 dollars
Memory that persists Kindroid Yes 15.99 dollars
A free allowance first GirlfriendGPT No Not published
A written no-training promise AICupid No Not published
Images and video together Soulkyn No Behind an age gate

None of the six asks for a credit card to create an account.

AI Angels, the closest match

Unfiltered companion chat with photos, video and voice calls, from a named Estonian company, and one of the few here that prints a price on a page you can read without an account. At 12.99 dollars a month it sits in the middle of this list on cost and at the top on transparency.

If what you liked about Candy AI was the combination of chat and generated images, this is the nearest equivalent that lets you check the price first.

Honeybot, if payment matters

11.99 dollars, an operating company named and located in Nevada, and a stated position on which courts hear a dispute. Card payments run through one processor and cryptocurrency through another.

That redundancy is worth more in this category than it sounds. Card processors withdraw from adult services at short notice, and a vendor with a second route is one whose account still works next quarter. The refund positions differ between the two payment routes and the terms say so, which is more transparency than the average here.

Kindroid, if continuity matters more than pictures

The most expensive on this page at 15.99 dollars, and the only one with persistent memory across sessions plus voice. It also runs on web, iOS and Android simultaneously, which is unusual when both app stores restrict adult content.

Kindroid uses third-party age verification rather than a checkbox. That cuts both ways: it is a real signal about how the vendor operates, and it means signup asks more of you than anything else here.

GirlfriendGPT, if you want to try before deciding

Companion chat with voice and images from a named Canadian company, with a small free allowance so you can see the output quality before committing.

The price is not published anywhere ClickTug could find. That is recorded as not published rather than filled in with a figure from a review site, because a number nobody has to honour is not a price.

AICupid, if training is your concern

States plainly that your content never trains a model. That is unusually direct for this category, where most policies simply do not address the question, and it is the single most common gap ClickTug records across every listing.

The trade is that it never states a price either.

Soulkyn, if you want video as well

Uncensored companion chat with images and video, behind an age gate that also hides the price.

Worth knowing: Soulkyn’s blocked-content wording is near-identical to that of several other vendors in this category, operating under different companies in different countries. ClickTug records the clause and its apparent authorship as separate facts, because a well-drafted clause tells you about the template it came from rather than about the vendor using it.

What to check before you pay

Three things decide the value here and all three are on every listing:

What a free account actually includes. Almost no vendor in this category documents message limits, image allowances or companion counts. They are learned by hitting them.

What happens to your companion if you stop paying. Continuity is what the subscription sells, and no vendor assessed states whether the character and its memory are retained, exportable or deleted on cancellation.

Whether your conversations train the next model. Distinct from retention and often confused with it. A service can delete your messages and still have learned from them.

Questions

What is the best Candy AI alternative?

AI Angels is the closest match on features and is one of the few in this category that publishes a price openly, at 12.99 dollars a month, covering photos, video and voice calls. Honeybot at 11.99 names its operating company and accepts both card and cryptocurrency. Kindroid at 15.99 is the pick if persistent memory matters more than images. Which suits you depends on whether you are buying pictures, a voice, or continuity.

Can I see the price before signing up?

Rarely in this category, and it is the most useful filter there is. Candy AI puts its price behind signup. Of the alternatives here, AI Angels publishes openly at 12.99 dollars, Honeybot at 11.99 and Kindroid at 15.99. GirlfriendGPT, AICupid and Soulkyn do not publish a price at all, which ClickTug records as a stated fact rather than guessing at a figure from a review site.

Are there free Candy AI alternatives?

Several have a free allowance, and none of the tools on this page asks for a credit card to create an account. GirlfriendGPT gives a small free allowance covering voice and images. Kindroid, Honeybot and AI Angels all have free tiers. A free tier is not a free trial: a trial expires and a tier does not, and each listing records them as separate fields.

Which alternative does not train on my conversations?

AICupid states plainly that your content never trains a model, which is unusually direct for this category. Most vendors here do not address the question either way, which is why ClickTug records training as not documented rather than as a no. Each listing states what the vendor actually wrote and links to the page it was read from, with the date.

Do any of these work on a phone?

Kindroid runs on web, iOS and Android at once, which is unusual given both app stores restrict adult content. Most of the others are web apps you add to your home screen. Each listing records which route the app uses to reach a phone, because a store listing can be pulled at any time and a web app cannot.
