Does ClickTug use cookies?

No. This site sets no cookie of any kind and writes nothing to your device. It ran Google Analytics from 11 Aug 2026 to 10 Sep 2026, which set two cookies for visitors who accepted them, and that tag has been removed.

Does ClickTug track me?

No. There is no analytics script, no tracking pixel, no beacon and no logging of individual visits. This site loads nothing from another origin at all, which is enforced by a content security policy checked on every deploy rather than by a promise on this page.

Did ClickTug not count clicks?

It did, from 8 Aug to 11 Sep 2026. An outbound-click measurement counted a page view and a click without a cookie or any identifier stored on your device, and it never published a figure. It was removed on 11 Sep 2026 along with its endpoint, its database table and the records it had collected.

Do you know who I am?

No. We hold no record of your visit. Cloudflare, who serve this site, process requests as part of delivering it under their own policies, and that is the only place a request to clicktug.com is handled.

What do the tools I visit collect?

That is entirely up to them and their policies apply once you leave, not ours. It is why every listing on this site records the vendor's stated retention period, whether they train on user content and how deletion works, with a link to the policy we read it from, before you go.

Privacy policy

Short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, stores nothing on your device and keeps no record of your visit. There is no account to sign up for and nothing to opt out of.

That is unusually short for a privacy policy, so the rest of this page explains what used to be here and why it is not.

What ClickTug collects

Nothing, from ordinary browsing.

There is no analytics script, no tracking pixel, no beacon, no fingerprinting and no per-visit logging of any kind. This site loads nothing from another origin: no fonts from a CDN, no embeds, no tag manager. Its content security policy allows self on every directive and is checked on every deploy, so a third-party script cannot appear here without that policy being changed on purpose.

The one exception is the contact form. If you write to us through it, we receive what you typed, because that is what sending a message means. It is described below.

What ClickTug stores on your device

Nothing. No cookie, no local storage entry, no identifier.

Three things once did: two Google Analytics cookies for visitors who accepted them, a dismissal timestamp under ct_age_ack, and a consent choice under ct_consent. All three features are gone. Clearing site data for clicktug.com removes anything they left behind, and nothing here reads or writes them now.

What used to be here

Google Analytics, 11 Aug to 10 Sep 2026. It sat behind a consent banner, was denied by default in every country until a visitor chose Accept, and set two first-party cookies if they did. Removed, with the banner and the five entries it needed in the content security policy.

An outbound-click measurement, 8 Aug to 11 Sep 2026. This site counted a page view and a click on its own listing pages, using no cookie and storing nothing on your device. It identified repeat clicks with a truncated one-way hash of an IP address salted with a secret that changed daily, which was never reversible and was never stored alongside the key. It never published a single figure, because the part that turned events into published numbers was never built.

It was removed on 11 September 2026: the browser beacon, the /api/t endpoint, the database table and the records it had collected. There is nothing left of it to describe, which is why this policy is now four sections shorter than it was.

The contact form

If you use the form on the contact, submit, report or removal pages, we receive the name, email address and message you typed, and the page you sent it from. That reaches a mailbox and is not stored in a database or passed to any other service.

A hidden field and a submission timer are used to reject automated spam, and the rate limit counts submissions per network for a short window. There is no CAPTCHA, because that would mean loading a third-party script on pages people reach with an expectation of privacy.

Links to other sites

Every tool listed here is somebody else’s service. Once you follow a link, that vendor’s privacy policy applies and ours does not.

This is why every listing records what the vendor says about retention, training on your content and deletion, with a link to the page we read it from, before you decide to go. We recheck those descriptions and date them, but they describe someone else’s policy and can change without our knowing.

Your rights

Because we hold no data that identifies you, there is generally nothing for us to look up, export or delete on request. If you believe we hold something about you, write to [email protected] and we will check properly rather than sending you a template.

If a listing concerns you personally, the removal request page is the faster route.

Infrastructure

This site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes requests as part of serving it, under their own policies, and that is the only processor involved in an ordinary page view.

There is no email service provider, no CRM, no advertising platform and no analytics vendor attached to this site.

Changes

Material changes are announced on this page with a new effective date. This policy describes what the software actually does, so a change here means the software changed.
